finally! dan and i became confident enough to take david out to the mall :P we never took him out except for trips to the doctor and to tahanan. we did go out to the mall twice but they were just short trips and after picking up some baby stuff, uwian agad :)

we felt that the right time that david could go out was when he could support himself and he could sit upright in his stroller so he could see what's going on. and even if he doesn't want to be in the stroller we can carry him upright which is much better than just carrying him while he's lying down.

also we officially have a yaya already. she's one of the helpers we have in our house. (dan, david and i live with my parents). we currently have four helpers and it just made sense to go with the one who already has a kid. plus factor na lang that she's always in a good disposition :) plus plus factor is that she's been with the family for several years now so trust is no longer an issue.

so, after david's visit to the pedia, we hied off to trinoma, which is one of the more stroller friendly malls in the city. to start, all levels of the mindanao parking area have wheelchair accessible ramps.

the mall's walkways are also wide enough so we don't have to worry about bumping people with our stroller and vice versa.

there are elevators too on some levels which make moving from one floor to another easier with a stroller. however, we're fine with just using the escalators :)

last but not least there are still levels which have very few traffic as well which is great for us :) honestly i still feel paranoid whenever a person nearby coughs or sneezes :P

for david's day out, he wore a carter's tank top, which was given to him by his ninong sonny and tommy hilfiger shorts.

he wore sneakers without socks because we didn't want him to feel hot.

of course after every trip to the mall (be it wih david or not), there's always a lootbag for bugoy. for today, we went to mothercare (i love this store so much, i'm so sorry i missed their big sale!) to buy his grasping toy and some really great socks which are 50% off.  we bought him teethers at babies r' us as advised by our pedia. david's gums have started to swell because he is already teething.

so goes our friday :) i'd really like for david's next trip to be a park. i'd like to avoid the malls as much as possible. i don't want him turning into a mall rat too soon :P
